A Maximum card is a postal stamp that affixed on the view side of a picture postcard and a cancellation (postmark) with maximum concordance between elements..

A Maximum Card must answer to the rules adopted by the F.I.P. Fédération Internationale de Philatélie.

Important Observations :

The illustration of the postcard must present the best possible concordance with the subject of the stamp.
The stamp is affixed on the view side (illustration).
The cancellation must be on a place in direct link with subject of the stamp.
The postmark date must be during the validity of the stamp.

Never confuse a maximum card with a philatelic souvenir, where most of the time one concordance element is missing or false.
